Since the appearance of the vision for Industry 4.0 it was clear that the existing methods and means for the creation of informational systems (IS) should evolve. United Platform for Innovations (UPI) as a representative of this field is created as a whole along the vision of Industry 4.0.
The creation of UPI precedes from the creation of the new Semantic Network Based Architecture (SNBA). This architecture defines a new type of digital environment in which altogether are maintained not only informational objects as concept and data but also their models maintained as objects in the same environment. In the new environment are created faster and cheaper but also the old IS and are provided the means for the creation of “new” with an unachievable yet functionality of IS. The new UPI-possibilities are connected to each other and cannot be graded:

- The accumulation of models of data and concepts in the maintained with special technology UPI-Repository provides high level of reusability of the created models and their program code

- Natural forming of community for UPI-crowdsourcing
- The time zone tracking provides the possibility of creating systems that are used in different countries in different time zones
- Easy localization of errors and a maximum prevention for their occurrence when creating program code
- The maintenance of the models of data and concepts in a clear form provides a natural documentation of the system to up to 80% of the necessary
- Controllable sharing of rights to different owners of UPI-systems for their self-development
- The user interface could be maintained in many different languages
- Creating new (smart) functionalities based on the integrated processing of models of data and concepts of their instances
- Effective control of unstructured data presented with graph-based organization
- Creating random ontological constructs to present different semantics
- Assembling of Knowledge graph through integration of complicatedly-connected ontological constructs
- The UPI-environment is a convenient infrastructure to import specific functionalities realized through simulating neural networks and different algorithms for Machine Learning
- No code means that provide a possibility for the creation models through the basis of other models that are available which can be used directly without creating program code for maintaining their instances
- Possibility to control packages of structured data with the means used for controlling unstructured objects which leads to creating new schemes for organizing work and user interface
